How to Change Character in Team Fortress 2 ?

Category : TF2

If you're looking to change up your playstyle in Team Fortress 2, one of the easiest ways to do so is by switching to a different character.

In this guide, we'll run through each of the game's nine classes, and give you a basic overview of what they're good at.

The Scout is TF2's resident speedster and excels at getting behind enemy lines and causing havoc. He's relatively weak in a straight fight, but his double jump and ability to run faster than everyone else makes him hard to catch.

The Soldier is the workhorse of the team and is good at just about everything. He's got a powerful rocket launcher that can be used to great effect in both direct combat and against enemy buildings, and his shotgun is perfect for close-quarters fighting.

The Pyro is a strange character and is best used in close quarters where her flamethrower can cause havoc. She's also got a fire axe that's great for taking down enemy buildings, and her fireproof suit protects her from enemy fire.

The Demoman is another character with a lot of versatility. His grenades can be used to great effect against both enemy players and buildings, and his sticky bomb launcher can be used to lay traps or clear paths.

The Heavy is the team's tank, and as such he's slow and heavily armored. His minigun is incredibly powerful but takes a few seconds to spin up to full speed. He's also got a shotgun for close-quarters fighting and can use his sandwiches to heal himself and his teammates.

The Engineer is the team's support class and is responsible for building and maintaining sentry guns and teleporters. He's got a shotgun and a pistol for self-defense, and his wrench can be used to repair his own buildings or destroy enemy ones.

The Medic is the team's healer and can keep his teammates alive with his healing gun. He's also got a syringe gun that can be used to temporarily increase a teammate's speed and an overcharge that can make them invulnerable for a short period of time.

The Sniper is the team's long-range specialist and can pick off enemies from a distance with his sniper rifle. He's also got a shotgun for close-quarters fighting and can use his jarate to temporarily blind and slow enemies.

The Spy is the team's infiltrator and can disguise himself as an enemy to get behind their lines. He's got a knife for close-quarters fighting and can use his cloaking device to become invisible for a short period of time.

So there you have it, a brief overview of each of the nine classes in Team Fortress 2. If you're looking to change up your playstyle, try experimenting with some of the other classes and see what they're all about.
